koma.id – Not only did he take hostage the Susi Air pilot, the leader of the Armed Criminal Group (KKB), Egianus Kagoya, also killed the son of the head of Pimbinom Village, Kuyugawe District, Lanny Jaya Regency, Papua Mountains.
The murder incident occurred a week ago, when the Cartenz Peace Task Force 2023 was tracking the criminal group. The motive for the murder was because the Head of Pimbinom Village, with the initials ST, refused to provide food assistance.
“The head of the village with the initials ST was not willing to help the Egianus Kagoya group come to his village to ask for food, and in the end a child aged 6–8 years with the initials MT was killed by Egianus Kagoya himself,” said Head of Operations for the 2023 Cartenz Peace Task Force, Kombes Faizal Ramadani, in Lanny Jaya, Sunday (5/3/2023).
Faizal said that he had obtained eyewitnesses who saw Egianus Kagoya’s cruelty. “There are witnesses whose statements we take, even though there are several obstacles, namely language, we try to bridge the gap between the Egianus Kagoya group and the one who shot,” he explained.
The witness continued, also seeing the EG group carrying three long-barreled rifles. Faizal, who is also the Director of General Crimes at the Papua Regional Police, emphasized that he was determined to arrest EG and also release the Susi Air pilot.
“We continue to be determined to try to find and rescue pilot Philip Mark,” he said. KKB (Armed Criminal Group), Egianus Kagoya, Violence, humanity, crime, murder, children, violations of human rights, West Papua, Papuan Conflict, Head of Village
