Koma.id – The atrocities of the armed criminal group (KKB) left deep wounds on the people of Papua. At least 12 people were killed in an attack on the Egianus Kagoya FCC on July 16, 2022.
One of the victims’ families, Yuliana Fauwawan, said she couldn’t help but miss her father, who was killed in an attack by a KKB sympathizer.
Meanwhile, Martinus Yanwarin, a construction worker who was one of the hostages, was freed by a joint TNI-Polri team after being held hostage for nearly three months by the KKB in Paro, Nduga County, Papua.
During the hostage situation, Martinus and 14 of his colleagues worked under threat, and their lives were at stake.
“He (KKB) told you to work fast; your lives are in my hands”, Martinus said, imitating the direction of the KKB group when he was held hostage.
KKB’s brutal actions left deep wounds among the people of Papua. The FCC doesn’t deserve to be around. The Papuans are also demanding that KKB stop the violence they are doing to the citizens.
