Koma.id – A community leader in Papua, Ignasius Robert Adi, asked the Armed Criminal Group (KKB), led by Egianus Kagoya, to release Philip Mehrtens, the Susi Air pilot they were holding hostage.
According to Ignasius Robert Adi, the role of airplanes and pilots is very important for the transportation of people in the land of Papua, especially in the Paro district.
“Pilots and these planes are nothing new in the land of Papua.” “This type of aircraft is Susi Air; the old term is Cessna,” he said today.
According to him, these small planes have long served the people in the interior of Papua, including the people of Nduga.
Their role so far has been very helpful for the local community (Nduga).
Therefore, representing the Mimika Religious Harmony Forum, I appealed to those who are currently holding the pilot to release him immediately so he can return to serve the people of Papua.
Ignasius Robert Adi also appealed to the people of Nduga Regency not to panic over the burning of the plane and the hostage-taking of the Susi Air pilot, which was carried out by the KKB.
He also invited the public to always ask for God’s help, because whatever the problem, God is the most important and the place to ask for help.
The entire community must work together and entrust the TNI-Police with maintaining security in Papua New Guinea.
That way, a sense of unity will be created as a big capital to fight against all acts of violence that violate the rules of this country.
“Let’s work together, respect each other, maintain unity, and entrust the TNI-Police to maintain security and order in Papua.” “So that all of the components involved in this event always and always take the humanitarian aspect into account,” Ignasius said.
